I indeed Rick Rolled my Alex in my Vows;)
Well my friends, on my 41st birthday on the 19th I married my person Alex Hunt.
The day was all that I wished for and so much more.
Our Judge that married us, wrote a heartfelt Facebook post after our ceremony about witnessing Hope. I love how it intertwines with who I am and all that State of Grace is as well. When we stay open to receiving that which we desire (to me that is Hope), anything is possible.
I would like to share some of those magical moments with you from our day of Hope.
The Judge that married us, is the same Judge that my Alex had some run in's with in the past (his past life) and they are now friends and it was truly witnessing a full circle moment. Alex's old life and the true testament of how Recovery is possible and then what can be possible from there.
I had mentioned to my good friend Patti just recently that if I would have done things differently I would have gotten the half moon arch from where my flowers were done. It's a beautiful big arch and I am very connected to the moon cycles.
Well, when I walked into that courtroom, both my amazing friends Patti & Susan had added some greenery to the outside of the pews and the big half moon arch was sitting on top of the Judge's bench decorated just so simply and beautifully. I have some seriously, amazing friends.
Alex, Quincy and I all have an on going secret challenge to "Rick Roll" each other. So what does this mean? You could be sitting quietly or watching a movie or music video and then it get's interrupted abruptly by the song of Rick Astley, Never Gonna Give You Up.
Well, my vows to Alex started out deep and loving and then at the end I went into the chorus of Never Gonna Give You Up. I got him. On our wedding day. It was wonderful!
Then there was my dad. I told my dad a month and a half ago, "Dad you are walking me down the isle, no matter if it's with your walker or in a wheel chair, you are doing it." I wanted to give him something to have motivation for with all that he is feeling and dealing with the Cancer. There was also a lot of praying he would still be here.
The day came, he didn't sadly where the 'Get er done hat':) But he looked so good and he walked me down that isle with his walker and no extra assistance. That wish was granted that day. Along with sunshine and a smile on both Alex and my face so big and bright.
This is why I believe so much in staying Hopefilled and staying open to what is possible!
When you stay open that is how the light get's in.
What a blessed day we experienced.
Have a blessed day and stay open to all the opportunities & possibilities that are awaiting to come to you!
All my love,
Theresa Falvey-Hunt
