Come Nourish your Soul with a Retreat
It’s so good to see your face today.
2 weekends ago I had the pleasure of being asked to co-guide along with 3 other women, a weekend retreat called By Women for Women at the Christine Center in Willard, WI.
This weekend in particular myself and the 3 other brilliant women that led each donated our time that weekend to be of service to others. We did not receive any payment well in monetary form BUT we or I can speak for myself received so much more than a dollar amount as I do every time I come to the Christine Center.
The deep human connection-sharing in the group setting and individually makes my heart soul full and sing it’s hard to explain.
**Pics of the weekend are on my Biz Facebook Page**
First of all, I think I have share how special the Christine Center is. It is this magical place set back in the woods, minimal wifi signal, many unique homy hermitages to stay in. The grounds truly are sacred. There are trails to get lost in your thoughts and deer to make new friends with (such as I did this last time;). And the meals are always delicious.
I do find it so interesting every time I am there leading a retreat (and another coming up in a couple weeks), the bonds that are formed and the sacred space that is so quickly formed as we meet on a Friday night and leave each other on Sunday. It truly is amazing to witness what is possible in a short amount of time when we gather.
The laughs and tears were just what I needed to release some things that were ready to be released and the laughs have been waiting to be heard. It truly is a space where you can be seen, held, heard.
So I’m inviting you to my next retreat called Nourish Mind + Body Retreat.
This retreat is for you to come fill your cup.
If your body is craving some nourishment; think of it like a desire for a “reset” a delightful inhale and exhale of the mind and body. You know, those breaths that bring you back to the present moment. Bringing you back home to yourself.
Participant in Theresa’s last retreat:
“The retreat was the most beautiful experience. I have learned a lot from journaling, meditating and finding myself. Theresa was a fantastic teacher. I am very proud of her and proud of being part of her retreat as a reflection in my life.”
To nourish: “To cause to grow or live in a healthy state.”
I believe now more than ever, it is so important to do the the things that feel good to us. To make sure we are taking the time to listen to our bodies as to what those good feeling things are. Doing activities that help ground ourselves, bring peace to our hearts and minds, and allow for space rather than push or force.
This weekend, will allow for the space for you to Be, to go inwards and listen, to come as you are. Giving space for what needs to go to go, and what would like to stay to stay. What is desiring to yet be created, be created. Filling your cup with guided nourishing sessions for your soul via restorative/gentle yoga + mindfulness + neurosculpting® meditation + soundbath + self inquiry + nature + personal time.
If weather permits we will be having a fire ceremony on Saturday evening to provide a more intentional release of those things we do not want to bring with us after our experience together is complete. Drumming happens during the writing down and throwing into the fire of those things that no longer serve us. This is a very empowering experience for everyone, a way of giving thanks to what was but no thank you any longer.
Now is the time to make you a priority.
To take good care of your beautiful, sacred mind+body.
To return home to your amazing one of a kind self.
To simply receive.
