Past-Here Now-Future

I have been mulling since yesterday over something that I read.

This person’s words felt like mine but on their page. I instantly felt triggered and my brain went to a space of, they are taking my words and making them theirs to boost their popularity or whatever. Yeah, that is where my brain immediately went. It didn’t feel good.

I have been taking some time with meeting this situation as to what feels best how to handle it.

This morning I woke and asked myself if any of what happened to be truth and of course the answer was No.

Then I decided to draw some oracle cards (stay with me for those of you that aren’t into that).

One card flew out right away and I almost put it back but I know better and kept it out. Then I drew one more.

I flipped over the second card I picked first and the message was : The Fates: Acceptance that there are things that you cannot change. It may not be certain in your cards to understand why certain events occurred, but you can accept the mystery and work with what those events and your current circumstances have to teach. This is the wisdom contained in the Serenity Prayer.

Yeah, that message got me right in the feels right away and again brought me back to what do I know to be true in this moment, which is all that I can control is me and how I respond and this moment is what matters.

Then the first card that I almost put back and the message was: Here and Now: Being fully present in the moment; living one day at a time. What you think now becomes your reality. Stay present. You have what it takes to handle anything today if you let go of the need to look into the future or reflect on the past.

Ok message heard loud and clear. I am safe and supported and I can choose to get curious about what is really happening in this moment because this is the only moment I know. Our brains are able to do something different. We are able to do something different. We are resilient and capable.

I love that all the things that I do in my work helps to support me with tools on how to not sit in what I think is going on but brings me back to reality.

I can help you to come back home to yourself.

When we live in the past or future we miss out what is right before our eyes. We are not living in true appreciation for what is and almost in a sense I think taking this time and space for granted.
