About Last Week…
This week, I’ll be sharing the miracles and moments of divine awareness I experienced while in Georgia for the Blackaby Spiritual Leadership Coaching Workshop.
It all began with a calling—I didn’t seek out this workshop; it found me. One day, while scrolling Facebook, the ad appeared. At that same moment, I had been praying about attending a God-centered coaching event. Still, I didn’t jump in. I’ve been practicing waiting at least 24 hours before saying a full yes to anything, to be sure it’s Spirit-led. In this case, I waited a month. The ad showed up a few more times, each time nudging me with a quiet yes. Eventually, the pull became undeniable. It was time.
I was meant to be there.
I arrived in Georgia on a Sunday, spent some time at a coffee shop before hotel check-in, and decided to play a little spiritual game. I told God and the Universe, “I’m open to miracles today.” I repeated this prayer every day of the trip. I also invited my dad—who passed over two years ago—to join the fun, asking him to show up with coins, something he’s done before.
When I entered that space of co-creation with God, the Universe, and my dad, I felt excitement and curiosity rise in me. I still feel it now. God delights in our joy. And when we tune in like that—when we say, “I can’t wait to see how God will move through me today”—everything shifts. We start seeing life through a lens of wonder, where the smallest things become miracles.
And that’s exactly what started happening.
At the car rental desk, I was first offered an electric car—which I didn’t want to deal with in an unfamiliar city. The only alternatives? A full-size truck or a truck-like SUV. My eyes lit up. I love big vehicles! I picked the smaller truck for easier driving. When I got to it, I was stunned—it was a Jeep Gladiator. Gorgeous. I double-checked the plate—it was mine. I smiled and thanked God for the blessing.
Next, I called the hotel, hoping for early check-in. They said, “How about 2:30?” Perfect. The front desk attendant was a joy—always smiling, helpful, full of humor and heart. I told her how much I appreciated her. She truly embodied integrity and service.
Later, I treated myself to some shopping. At Athleta, I found leggings on clearance, and when I checked out, they rang up even cheaper than marked. Another small miracle. I thanked God again.
I wrapped up the day with a delicious non-alcoholic drink and dinner, savoring every bite. Back at the hotel, I crashed hard—I'd been going since 2:30 a.m.
What a gift of a day.
No pennies yet… but stay tuned—there’s more to come.
The takeaway? Stay open. Stay expectant. Watch how God moves.
