Day 4: Everything Is a Season
“Is this a human problem or a God problem?”
Such a good question, right? (There’s my Wisconsin showing—you're welcome! )
On the final day of the Spiritual Leadership Workshop, we were invited to reflect on that question and a few others:
What’s in my control—and what’s not?
Is this a time to act or a time to trust?
Am I holding on to something I need to release?
We spent part of the day with Richard Blackaby, a powerful teacher and co-founder of the work. He taught us how to coach others through God’s seasons—Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall—and how these cycles show up in our own lives.
Sometimes we think God’s done with us. That nothing new is coming. That we’re stuck. But if seasons always change… how could that be true? What if Winter is just God clearing space for something better?
Richard reminded us: “Don’t get hijacked by your problems or your human agenda.”
Ask instead: “God, what’s YOUR agenda for me?”
After we wrapped early, I squeezed in a short hike just outside Atlanta. That’s when the miracles kicked in:
I saw three baby deer and a mama on the trail.
My first gas stop? Sketchy. Card failed. Pump broken. Message received: Keep moving.
Second station? Pump was painfully slow, phone battery dying, nerves rising.
I prayed. Hard. Repeated, “Everything is working out for me.”
At 5:56 PM—four minutes to spare—I rolled into the car rental lot. The attendant was kind. I exhaled. Miracle.
And as I grabbed my bags and walked out of the garage, I looked down…
TWO shiny pennies.
My dad came through. His sign. “We got you,” he said from the other side. I smiled big. Full heart.
Later, my flight was delayed due to a lightning storm—and I watched it dance from the air as we flew around it. What a finish.
So many miracles. So much movement.
So much confirmation that when you align with God, everything begins to shift.
Are you ready to see what’s possible when you let go and let God?
I’m calling in new coaching clients—if your spirit’s tugging, you know what to do. Let’s go.
